Trading Strategy Based on Market Trends

Bearish Examples in Trending Markets

1. Higher Timeframe Confirmation
   Ensure the market is in a downtrend by verifying: EMA 20 < EMA 110 && EMA 200.

2. Be on the Right Side of the Market

   • Price < EMA 20

   • MACD < 0

3. Follow the Trend

   • EMAs should be aligned and moving downward.

4. Identify Entry and Exit Opportunities

   • SMA and MACD cross in the trend direction.

   • MACD is below a defined level.

   • Enter a sell order accordingly.

5. Identify the Most Profitable Opportunities

   • SMA is around EMA 20.

   • MACD is near 0.

   • EMA 20 is close to EMA 110.

6. Signal

   • When a candlestick near the SMA shows strength, it is considered a signal candle.

   • Sometimes, sales occur when a single candle or a sequence of candles deviates from an upper resistance level (upper wicks).

   • A trendline break (at the end of a correction or resumption of a trend) is a common event.

7. Trigger

   • After the signal candle closes, the entry candle should open near the SMA 3 close and break the signal candle.

   • Stop loss can be placed above the signal candle or entry candle.

   • On an M5 chart, stop loss is usually 70-100 points (7-10 pips).

   • On an M30 chart, it is around 200 points (20 pips).

   • Monitor support/resistance levels and avoid blindly setting a fixed stop loss.

Bullish Examples in Trending Markets

1. Higher Timeframe Confirmation

   • Price > EMA 20
