Market Destroyer is a trend following strategy for low time frame and high volatility market. This strategy is presented here on mobile but it is a classic strategy suitable for all trading platforms. Market Destroyer is based on moving averages and a moving average channel. Market Destroyer works on all time frames, in this article I show the setup for 1 minute and five minute time frames.
Setup Strategy
Time Frame
1 minute
Currency pairs: GBPUSD, GBPJPY, AUDJPY, CADJPY, US100, Oil.
Exponential Moving Average 100 periods high.
Exponential Moving Average 100 periods, low
Exponential Moving Average 50 periods close.
Exponential Moving Average 15 periods close.
MACD (24, 54, 12),
5 minutes
Exponential Moving Average 50 periods high.
Exponential Moving Average 50 periods, low
Exponential Moving Average 21 periods close.
Exponential Moving Average 10 periods close.
MACD (12, 26, 9).
15 minutes
Exponential Moving Average 34 periods high.
Exponential Moving Average 34 periods, low
Exponential Moving Average 18 periods close.
Exponential Moving Average 7 periods close.
MACD (12, 26, 9).
The entry logic is the same for all time frames.
Trading Rules
Buy
The short moving average (10 0 21) crosses the moving average of (21 0 50 periods) upwards.
This situation constitutes a buy alert.
When the short moving average crosses the moving average channel upwards, a purchase occurs.
MACD >0 or MACD histograms are trending upward and approaching zero.
Sell
The short moving average (10 0 21) crosses downwards the moving average of (21 0 50 periods).
This situation constitutes an alert for the sell.
When the short moving average crosses the moving average channel upwards, a sale occurs.
MACD <0 or MACD histograms are trending upward and approaching zero.
Aggressive entry optional
The short moving average crosses the upper moving average of the channel downwards and the MACD is <0. I recommend the aggressive entry from the 15 minute time frame because it has a greater chance of success.
Filter MTF Optional
1 minute time frame trades in the direction of the 30 minute trend 5 minute time frame trades in the direction of the H1 trend 15 minute time frame Trades in the direction of the 240 minute trend.
Exit position
Initial stop loss on the previous high low swing.
Profit Target ratio stop loss 1:1.3-1.5.
