Ride The Trend Forex MT4 Mobile is a trend momentum forex strategy based on Exponential Moving Averages and RSI with flat zone. Here I present two versions of this strategy, the first more conservative, suitable for time frames 5 – 15 – 30 minutes, the second more aggressive, suitable for higher time frames of 30 minutes and above.
This strategy is suitable for volatile financial instruments such as Nasdaq 100, Vix, and volatile currency pairs on a daily time frame.
Strategy setup
Time frame 5 min or higher.
Currency pairs: volatile.
Platform MT4 mobile or any.
Indicators
Exponential Moving Averages 50, close.
Exponential Moving Averages 21, open.
RSI 14 periods with levels 54 (Buy) and level 46 (Sell), flat zone 54-46.
Trading Rules
First option low time frames 5-15-30 minutes.
Buy
Ema 21>Ema 50
RSI>54
If the price is far from the moving averages wait until the price approaches the 21-period moving average.
Sell
Ema 21<Ema 50
RSI<46
If the price is far from the moving averages wait until the price approaches the 21-period moving average.
Examples of trades
Second option high time Frame 30. 60, 240, daily. In this case only the 50 period moving average is used.
Buy
Price closes above the 50-period moving average.
RSI>54
Sell
Price closes below the 50-period moving average.
RSI<46,
Position output for both options.
Stop loss on the previous high/low swing.
Profit Target minimum target 1:1 best 1: 2.5.
Note: As for Money Management I use the D'albert progression maximum 10 (however it depends on the deposit you have available).
Example of d'Alembert's progression when you lose you increase by one unit or by a % for example 30%, however when you win you decrease by one unit or by an X percentage value for example 30%:
