230# Fractals with MACD

Fractals with MACD is a classic forex strategy , based on fractals of Bill Williams. The old strategy is based on fractals and ADX, I changed ADX with MACD. This strategy works on all time frame and you can apply also for trading with Binary options high/low.

Expiry time for Binary options 1-2 candles.

Time frame 1 min or higher. My prefered time frame for day trading is 30 min.

Currency pairs: any.

Metatrader indicators setting:

MACD (12, 26, 9) for time frame 1 and 5 min, for higher time frame Macd setting is ( 7,18,9).

Fractals defaul metatrader.

Stochastic oscillator (13, 5, 4), as momentum filter for best timing for entry.

Buy

MACD Histogram >0
When appears a down arrow fractal, enter buy.

Stochastic oscillator crosses upward.
Place stops 5 pips or more depends by time frame and pairs below the low of the Fractal candle.
Exit with discretionary money management or when Stochastic oscillator crosses in opposite direction

Sell
MACD Histogram <0
When appears a up arrow fractal, enter sell.

Stochastic oscillator crosses downward.
Place stops 5 pips or more depends by time frame and pairs below the low of the fractal candle.
Exit with discretionary money management or when Stochastic oscillator crosses in opposite direction

For a more aggressive approach you can only use the slow stochastic as a filter.
